The lamp’s functions (merging of luminous fields, electronic light intensity control, illumination in depth, endo-light) can be controlled at the lamp head or with the sterilizable handle.

A multitude of computer-calculated facetted lenses guarantee homogeneity in the light field.

With colour rendering indexes Ra = 96 and R9 > 90 you will readily recognize the tiniest nuances of colour in tissue, especially for the colours red and yellow. The colour spectrum of the wound is rendered naturally with rich contrast. This OR-light provides a welcome relief for the eyes. The exact rendition of the colour red was emphasized. R9 > 90 means for the surgeon a visibly better recognition of details.

By using LED technology the heat radiation is reduced to a minimum without using any expensive filter technique. The temperature increase in the surgeon’s head as well as wound area is almost non-existent. Thus tissue will never dry out again form the OR light.

The integrated laser pointer always indicates the middle of the light field and helps the surgeon to optimally align the lamp to the wound area.
